Mobility 101 with Jason (for both men and women)Join us and learn how to maximize your body's movement potential as we unlock usable ranges of motion, improve joint mobility, create flexibility, improve muscle strength and resilience as well as neurological control.
STICK MOBILITY Stick Mobility uses industrial grade PVC sticks in various lengths to utilize joint mobilization, isometric tension, resisted/active stretching, deep myofascial stretching and stabilization to build strength, flexibility, stability and mobility. Maximum of 10 participants per class.
CONTROLLED ARTICULAR ROTATIONS (CARs) CARs are joint specific exercises using strict muscular and neurological control. During CARs one takes the joint through it’s usable range with the intent of gradually increasing the usable range by incrementally applying greater force with very specific control. Our joints are abundant with nerve receptors that create our awareness for movement. If we don’t use our joints daily in all manners and directions of movement those nerve receptors become dormant. By doing CARs on a daily basis and as often as one can, trains the joints to be more resilient, stable, mobile and aware.
DYNAMIC MOVEMENT Dynamic Movement class will use a variety of progressive movement techniques designed to create better muscle recruitment/activation, more resilient/aware joints, increase active/usable flexibility and mobility, build strength, stability and improve overall muscle quality.
